My results with these powders.

3shot groups under 1" @100yds.
IMR 4350 47gr, SMatchKing 174gr HPBT, PPU brass, 3.05 OAL, 210primers,
IMR 4350 47.5gr, SMatchKing 174gr HPBT, PPU brass, 3.05 OAL, 210primers
Accurate4350 47.5gr, SMatchKing 174gr HPBT, PPU brass, 3.05 OAL, 210primers

3shot groups under 1.5"
IMR 4895 47gr, SMatchKing 174gr HPBT, WIN brass, 3.05 OAL, 210primers = Dirty cases, to light of load. Case not sealing against chamber wall.
IMR 4895 48gr, SMatchKing 174gr HPBT, WIN brass, 3.05 OAL, 210primers = Case clean, neck still dirty.

The OAL varied a good bit because I was measuring from the bullet tip. And the SMK's arent consistent at the tip. The avg OAL was approx 3.05"

I'm looking to load some SMK 174g HPBT's been looking for load data
I want to try the IMR4350 powder but having trouble finding load data
I see your using 47 to 47.5g is that a min load or max load?

the IMR/Hodgdon reload data center website shows H4350 but not IMR4350 are there differences ?
I see this a lot and wonder what the numbers of different powders mean is one company's 4350 the same or close to the same as another's?

Thats just above min for me. I started at 45gr or so and was getting powder around the necks. Got up around 47.5gr  and was having great groups. Went up to 50gr with no pressure signs. But stuck to 47gr - 47.5gr for accuracy.

I just play it simple, and assume all powders are unique.

I load as if all 4350's are different. How different?
Well, they are similar, but I dont wanna piss the genie off, so I dont mess around.

There will always be some guy who will say 'they are nearly the same, you can interchange them'. Usually the same guy that says 'If you cant afford $900+ for your daily carry weapon, go buy a knife'.

after reading up on some of this I'm going to go with 47g IMR4350 for my .311 174g Match Kings
I think I have bigger issues like my scope mount and the barrel tensioner I want to get figured out
before I work on load data
if this load works for you silvertip then that's a great place to start
I'm going to work on accuracy of the gun first then look for the best in a load

Wish I would take a look at your scope mount. That is crazy. Never heard of one coming loose that much, that easily.

Who drilled and tapped the receiver?

I mounted it drilling and tapping went well
I'm not totally sure I had the screws and threads degreased completely so it's probably my fault
going to try it again degreasing it completely cleaning off all the paint between the mount and receiver
and loc titeing it again even using a few dabs of JB Weld for good measure
I want to know its on the best it can be at this point I just don't trust it

I do however really dislike that bolt handle so I'm a bit soured on the whole thing

yep pretty sure it was my fault got a bit of crud out of the threads when I cleaned it
also I think I got one screw hole just a little off center when I first did it
there was enough slop when I first mounted it I just aligned it then tightened it
but I think the shock of recoil loosened it up regardless of the screws being tight
so now I have bedded the mount with JB Weld got it nice and strait and only tightened
it enough to hold it till the JB cured now I'll go back and tighten it with loc-tite
hopefully this will keep it in place till I change mounts
