Happy fathers day to everyone!!

Well I officially own a 1944 matching numbers Mosin (everything but the buttplate) My sons suprised me with it today. We were able to get in a little range tiem between the rain and 20mph wind. The rifle did well, free shooting the boys and I were able to hit what we were aiming at even with gusting wind. Not sure what it is about the Mosin, but the are a blast to shoot!!!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] From Iowaaaah!

Keep it clean and YUP, they are a blast to shoot! I have a '36-'37. The stock and the receiver match everything else is forced. No matter, it's got near new rifling and with a good driver can put a bullet on a flies ass at 100yards. That driver is not me however. scratch
